Implementing SQF Systems – Practitioner (2 day)

This two day course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the Safe Quality Food Program and the SQF Code Edition 8 requirements for processing and manufacturing at a lower cost for companies that have a need or desire to have several SQF Practitioners. Successful completion of the course and on-line exam will qualify each participant as an SQF Practitioner.

SQF Systems Overview for Management (6 hrs)

This one day course is designed for Managers, Supervisors and skilled operators to provide them with an overview of the SQF Code Edition 8 requirements. The SQF Systems Overview for Management covers the “meat and potatoes” of the SQF Code requirements as it relates to their specific roles and responsibilities. The SQF Program is most successfully implemented in facilities that involve line management and the hourly work force in development and verification of plant policies.

SQF Systems Awareness Plant Personnel (2 hrs)

This short course is designed to provide all plant personnel from plant management to packaging employees with a brief overview of the SQF Code Edition 8 requirements for processing and manufacturing. We will fit our schedule to yours.  Shift training can be conducted on all three shifts, scheduled to your preferred start times. The SQF Systems Plant Personnel Overview course will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction & Overview of the SQF Program
  • Why our customers are requiring SQF and what is GFSI?
  • How is this audit different?
  • How will this impact my job?
  • Benefits to SQF Certification

This course can be conducted simultaneously in English and Spanish.

Certified HACCP (2 Day)

The SQF Program emphasizes a HACCP-based approach to developing Food Safety Plans. In order to accomplish this, a thorough understanding of HACCP is essential for those implementing and auditing an SQF System. Food Safety and Quality Systems, LLC are proud to offer Basic HACCP Training Course accredited by the International HACCP Alliance. This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Basic HACCP.  How to develop a HACCP plan, including; development of process flow charts, how to conduct a risk assessment, determine Critical Control Points (CCP), monitoring, verification, and validation activities.  Successful completion of the course workbooks and in class exam will qualify each individual as HACCP Certified.

SQF Ed. 8 Code Changes  and Refresher (6 hrs)

This 6-hour course will focus on the major changes and updates currently undergoing the food industry as they pertain to the SQF standards. The course is geared towards facilities that are currently SQF certified and are adamantly involved in maintaining their SQF food safety program standards. Here, current practitioners have the opportunity to learn about all the changes and updates to the SQF Code. This class also provides an in-depth comparison of the changes from the previous version and explanation of the new additions to the SQF System. In addition to polishing current SQF Code knowledge, this course also serves the additional benefit to facilities with significant turn over and management changes.

Internal Auditor Training Course (2 day)

This one day course provides your internal auditing team the practical skills necessary to properly develop, implement, and execute an on-site audit program. Training will take a general approach to the topic while discussing SQF and internal company requirements. For more information click here.
